Damiana

In the hills above San José del Cabo, where the desert meets the sea, a small wild flower blooms without asking permission.

The Damiana.

It grows along roadsides and dry hillsides, in the cracks between rocks, in the places where nothing else bothers to try. Not rare, not fragile. Simply, quietly, persistently beautiful : the kind of beauty that does not announce itself and does not need to.

The Damiana collection was born from that flower and from a poem written in its honor. Each piece is woven bead by bead from Japanese Miyuki beads, chosen for the quality of light they carry. The flower is never just a motif here. It is the architecture, the texture, the entire reason the piece exists.

Four tones. Four moments of Baja light.

Gold : the full afternoon sun, unfiltered and generous.

Palo Rosa : the desert at dusk, when the hills go pink and everything becomes the color of something you cannot quite name.

Ivory : the early morning before the heat arrives, luminous and cool.

Champagne : the in-between hour, warm and pale, the tone the sand holds between night and day.

Wear one flower on your ear. Wear another on your hand. Or wear them together and let the desert bloom speak in full sentences.

A tribute to a wild flower, a poem, and the particular magic of making beautiful things by hand.
