The Damiana is a small wild flower that blooms in the hills above San José del Cabo, along dry roadsides and between rocks, where nothing else bothers to try. Not rare, not fragile. Quietly, persistently beautiful.

This collection was born from that flower and from a poem written in its honor. Each piece is woven bead by bead from Japanese Miyuki beads, so the flower is the architecture of the jewel itself.
