Who is Anne Sidora?
Anne Sidora is the pen name of our founder and designer.
Originally from France, she has called Mexico home for the past fourteen years. The name Anne Sidora is inspired by an ancient Greek word - Ἀνησιδώρα- (anesidora) meaning “purveyor of gifts.” Drawn to both its meaning and its musical, French-sounding quality, she adopted it as a pen name and eventually as the name of the brand itself.
At its heart, Anne Sidora was created with a simple intention: to be a purveyor of gifts through poetry and beautiful objects. Every collection is designed to bring a little more beauty, meaning, and poetry into everyday life.
Are your products handmade?
Many of our products are handmade or produced in small batches. Because of their handcrafted nature, slight variations in color, texture, shape, or finish may occur. We believe these differences are part of what makes each piece unique and beautiful. No two handmade pieces are ever exactly alike.
Where are your products made?
All branded Anne Sidora collections are designed in San José del Cabo, Mexico, where our store is located. We work with talented artisans and makers throughout Mexico and Latin America whose craftsmanship aligns with our values. Each piece is chosen or created for its quality, beauty, and ability to bring poetry into everyday life.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship throughout Mexico and to the United States using DHL Express. We have found DHL to be the most reliable and efficient shipping service for our customers. For shipments to other countries, please contact us directly for a personalized shipping quote. If you would prefer to use a different shipping carrier, we are happy to discuss alternative options whenever possible.
Can you ship candles, incense, or reed diffusers internationally?
No. Due to customs and transportation regulations, we cannot ship flammable products or products containing alcohol internationally. This restriction applies to candles, incense, reed diffusers, and any other products containing alcohol. These items can be shipped within Mexico or purchased directly in our shop.
With an IP adress fron outside of Mexico, you should not see those items on the online shop.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and additional payment options that may be available at checkout depending on your location.
Can I include a gift message with my order?
Yes. If your order is a gift, you may include a personalized message at checkout or contact us by email after placing your order. We will gladly include your message with the package.
Can I request a personalized poem with my purchase?
Yes, absolutely. If your order is intended for a special person or occasion, you may request a personalized poem to accompany your gift. Simply contact us after placing your order and tell us a little about the recipient, the occasion, or the sentiment you would like to express. Poetry has always been at the heart of Anne Sidora, and there is nothing we enjoy more than helping people celebrate, connect, and share a little more beauty and love with one another.
Do you offer wholesale pricing?
For some products, yes. Certain items can be produced in larger quantities and may qualify for volume pricing. However, many of our pieces are handmade by artisans, and producing larger quantities does not significantly reduce production time or costs. If you are interested in placing a larger order, please contact us and we will be happy to discuss available options.
How long does it take to process an order?
Most orders are prepared and shipped within 2–5 business days. During holidays, special events, or periods of high demand, processing times may be slightly longer. If your order is time-sensitive, please contact us before placing your order.
How can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to follow your package's journey. If you have not received your tracking information within the expected processing time, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you.
My order arrived damaged. What should I do?
We carefully inspect and package every item before shipment. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery and include your order number, photos of the damaged item, and photos of the shipping box and packaging. Once we review the claim, we will determine whether a replacement, store credit, or refund is appropriate.
Can I return or exchange an item?
We accept returns or exchanges only for items that arrive damaged or defective. Because many of our products are handmade, limited edition, or carefully curated in small quantities, we generally do not accept returns for change of mind. If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 72 hours of delivery and we will do our best to help.
Will the item I receive look exactly like the photos?
We make every effort to represent our products as accurately as possible. However, due to differences in screen settings and the handmade nature of many of our pieces, slight variations in color, texture, or appearance may occur. These variations are normal and contribute to the individuality of each piece.

Our boutique is located at Flora Farms in San José del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico. We would be delighted to welcome you and help you discover our collection in person.
