Description
The eclipse does not belong to day or night. It is the pause between them when the moon slides across the sun and the sky turns a color that has no name, something between rose and shadow, warm and cool at once. Elusive. Feminine. Gone before you can fully hold it.
Eclipse is the earring for that in-between. And I wrote a poem about the in-between and how much I love it!
Woven in soft blush pink and gold Miyuki beads, two interlocking circles hold the tension of that celestial moment : the sun and moon in conversation, neither one winning. Three gold chains fall from the lower circle like rays that cannot decide whether they belong to the sun or the moon. The answer is both. The answer is neither.
The most poetic piece in the Waves of Light collection. And perhaps the most Anne Sidora because it represents all our oh so womanly (yet lovely) contradictions.
