Recycled Glass
Description
Our green and clear drinking glasses are made in partnership with the only glass factory in Mexico - located in Oaxaca - that works with recycled glass.
The recycled glass comes from old bottles that are crushed, washed and melted to be used again. The ovens themselves operate with "recycled" oils that come from old cooking oils from the nearby hotels and restaurants.
The new glasses are perfectly sturdy and dishwasher safe.
As they are handmade, they all have their own particularities which make them unique. They are made slowly, as every step of their creation requires patience and time : from gathering the old bottles to be crushed, then sorted and cleaned, just so that they can be put in the ovens.
On average, they are 6cm high by 7cm wide.
